Busdrivers must be from another planet...

No offense, but seriously weird people sometimes. This morning the driver wouldn't let me on the bus. I feel I must explain my morning situation a bit: In the morning when I usually go to work there is TWO buses leaving for Stockholm. One of them is the regular bus that goes all the way from Hallstavik to Tekniska Högskolan Stockholm that is, and then there is another one, one that is not in the schedule but goes from Rimbo to Danderyd. My stop is at the University, which is AFTER Danderyd, hence I take the regular bus. I do not wish to cramp myself in with a bunch of people in a subway car.

This morning the driver in the regular bus thought that me and the others that wanted to go with his bus better take the other one. I walk over to the regular bus but the driver points at the other bus. I shake my head and points at his bus. He continues pointing at the other bus, more irratably by the minute. I keep on shaking my head with emphasis. At last he gets the point and slowly bring the bus over and opens the door.

HE: The other bus goes faster.
ME: But I want to go to the University.
HE: That bus goes to the University. (seriously, wouldn't I take the other bus if it stopped there?)
ME (and another girl who stands next to me): But it only goes to Danderyd.

He then understood why we wanted to ride on his bus. Finally. I have never in my life had to persuade a driver to let me ride his bus. That is just weird. Perhaps he was new or something...
